Traer Community Foundation
The Traer Community Foundation is a tax-exempt charitable organization, 501c (3) and has been actively contributing to the Traer community since 1991. Since that time, the Foundation has provided more than $1,181,089.00 to non-profit organizations, community projects and scholarships.
The purpose of the foundation is to receive and accept gifts for educational, cultural, community betterment and other charitable purposes. The Foundation then disburses the donations among local tax-exempt community organizations to support various projects.
The Foundation is managed by the five-member board of directors, who are appointed by various community organizations and serve limited terms.
